I had a phone call to come back for a second visit… and I was told to keep 4 hours free in case I needed to stay all morning. I was also told that parking was hard and to get there early so I didn’t have to walk too far.

As you know walking does not phase me, so I purposely parked around the corner, up the hill and down a bit and with back pack strategically positioned I powered off to my appointment. (oh yes, I was also told to bring a book to read)

The lift was out, so I walked up 3 flights of stairs and entered ‘the purple room’… I ‘checked in’ and was told to go through the door and into the waiting room. My energy was high and I guess I felt a little apprehensive as I swang open the door… to a room that was silent… except for christmas carols playing quietly in the background (sadly though it sounded more like a funeral march)… and in ‘the purple room’ were a dozen women, sitting in white robes with every single nose in a book. As I barged in all heads lifted to look at me… “ohhh good morning…. ” and then this delightful older lady with huge smile very nicely handed me a white robe and showed me to a cubicle to change.

I clad myself in my white robe and joined the other women… but I did not read, I sat and watched their faces, their body language… and all I could see was the fear that had each women glued to her book trying desperately to immerse her mind in something other than what she was there for.
As I watched the dozen women in the purple room, I noticed that all but a couple looked unhealthy, unfit, overweight and scared stiff… oh my gosh, I thought I have a captive audience… but this was not the time to start talking Healthy Hormones… although I did think about how much value I could offer… but then my thoughts went to me… here I was sitting with these women, healthy, fit… and supposed to know how to do it… I realized there are never any guarantees.. the right thinking… healthier lifestyle choices… and a happy disposition is merely an insurance policy but I believe that it is an insurance policy that you are CRAZY not to invest in.

As I left the purple room, with a clearance of perfect boob health (apparently I had a knot in some of the fibrous tissue in my breast and it came up looking like a spot) … I feel at peace that I am doing all I can to keep myself healthy…. and I am sitting here writing this email to you because I am more determined than ever to help you appreciate the value of YOU…. and the fact that you MUST do whatever it takes stay healthy.

I am going to send you a challenge and a check list.. 2010 is just around the corner and what are you going to change so that you can be healthier, happier and more in control of yourself and your life… because remember, to continue to do the same thing and expect a different result…. is the definition of insanity…

So, have a better than happy day… think about what I have just said and I will email you again before Thursday for your committment to change… your check list…. and your challenge…

PSS… they must do something about the purple room… I think I will write to them because…. and I guess that’s another story…
